With over 15 years of clinical experience, I receive great satisfaction helping youth and adults in their 20s and 30s improve mood and relationships so that they can experience more clarity and fulfillment in their lives.
More specifically, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, and other evidence-based treatment to help clients address depression, anxiety, life stressors, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral/relationship problems so that they can achieve their goals.
I obtained my Doctorate in Psychology from Adelphi University and Masters in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. My experience includes research coordination at Depression Evaluation Services at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (the primary teaching hospital for Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University and Columbia University), providing inpatient psychiatric treatment at Montefiore Medical Center (the primary teaching hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine), presenting at international conferences, and supervising over 20 clinicians/graduate level students while providing direct mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.
I partner with clients and clinicians in search of supervision as they build their own practices and strive to provide the highest quality of mental health care.
In psychotherapy, we can work together to strengthen the thoughts and behavior patterns that serve you and root out the ones that don't. If you have further questions, please feel free to text or call at 917-382-1372 for a free 15-minute phone consultation. I'd be happy to talk with you to determine if what I offer would be a good match for your needs.
