About Dr. Lily Warner
Lily Warner, Psy,.D., Licensed Psychologist & Founder
Welcome! With over 16 years of clinical experience, I specialize in helping individuals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s improve mood, relationships, and navigate life transitions so that they can experience more fulfilling lives. Dating, romance, developing confidence in yourself, career path, how to set healthy boundaries with people you love can all be challenging! As a human, I can relate, and as a professional, I'm here to help.
As a Licensed Psychologist, I integrate evidence-based treatments, clinical expertise, and an intuitive creative approach that enables you to address the root of problems and access internal resources so that you can experience more fulfillment and joy. I balance warmth with honesty, will give you direct feedback, and bring a down to earth, collaborative approach.
I obtained my Doctorate in Psychology from Adelphi University and Masters in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. My experience includes research coordination at Depression Evaluation Services at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (the primary teaching hospital for Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University and Columbia University), providing inpatient psychiatric treatment at Montefiore Medical Center (the primary teaching hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine), presenting at conferences internationally, and supervising over 20 clinicians and graduate level interns in mental health treatment. I’ve published mental health resources and reviews, was interviewed as an expert for a documentary aired on TV, and continue to do extensive continuing education trainings.
I am an expert in the mental health field; you are the expert on you. Together, we can change your life from the inside out.
On a personal note, I’m a born and raised New Yorker. I lived across the world for 7 years (Colorado, Australia, Arizona, California, then France) and then like a homing bird I returned to NYC, shifting from the fine arts to the healing arts to healing spaces backed by scientific inquiry.
Family, creativity, physical health, personal evolution, acts of service, curiosity and community are values I hold dear. And if you have a dog or cat that shows up on camera, I won’t be able to resist making an introduction!
Psychotherapy offers a space to strengthen what’s working in your life and release what’s holding you back. You don’t have to manage these challenges on your own. Reach out today.
